      1. Under my name, “War Springs Eternal,” is closest to my heart. Under my pen name, “She Is The New Savior,” is full of allegory, although it is extremely graphic in both sexual and violent content.

      2. This review of She Is The New Savior, hits it pretty much on the head…

Kelly Dress’ world is turned upside down in a hideously violent attack. She vows to take revenge, and what follows is an engrossing tale which is part feminist fairy-tale, part religious satire, part revenge fantasy. I was absolutely held by the story. The premise is very clever, very well constructed, and very entertaining.
A word of warning: this is definitely not suitable for under 18s, and it is important to mention that some of the violence is graphic and potentially upsetting, particularly early on, so please be aware of triggers. Similarly, if you are offended by the marriage of explicit sex with a tongue-in-cheek take on the New Testament, this isn’t for you. But for everyone else, I highly recommend this. Really clever, and well written.

      3. As is this one for War Springs Eternal..

This is a raw and gut-wrenching short story, told by a man suffering from shell-shock (or PTSD in today’s terminology). Expertly written, the choice of tense and point of view give the reader a real sense of the protagonist who lives with his demons while living in the moment. Very vivid.
I was entirely immersed in the story, really rooting for the story-teller, but each time he begins to rise, he’s cut down again.
Brave and brutal. This story will stay with me for a very long time.
