A Review – A Gathering of Butterflies

A Gathering of Butterflies by [Wright, Sean C]Sean Wright does an outstanding job of telling a good story, and then she does it again, and again, and again. I highly recommend giving “A Gathering of Butterflies” a read, and when you’re done, give it another read – the stories are that good.

My favorites was Heaven’s Halfway House, but the simple truth is all four stories were simply fantastic. So good, I read the entire book twice. Each story had a complete arc, and still left me wanting to read more about the characters.

One method of storytelling I thoroughly enjoyed was the author using names that have shown up in other literary works, and giving them a familiar, yet at the same time, completely new feel.

From Amazon –

Tales of steely but vulnerable women of color will melt your heart while lifting your spirits…

A fierce grandmother keeps her grandson from the clutches of Old Scratch in Devil Does Dallas.

An alien abduction transforms a large, miserable woman in Hazel Hogan.

A country girl meets a city girl on her birthday, and struggles to decide if the girl’s heart is dark or light in Bubble Bath Twelve.

And methodical Genie forms an unlikely relationship in Heaven’s Halfway House while in a coma.

“Who am I?”

I am an independent, self-published teller of tales. I am an author of scarcely any renown. However, as a storyteller, I know who I am, and with that persona, I am both confident and comfortable. I invite you to visit my website,  ShortStoryScribe.com and/or Amazon Author Page,

if you are so inclined please purchase a copy and leave a review.

Thank you,
